YMHFA is a training program that teaches people how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health or substance use challenges. YMHFA is a specific course for adults working with young people aged 12-18. It teaches how to identify warning signs, provide initial help, and connect with appropriate professionals. This free course is taught by Kathy Wilbur, RN, BSN, and funded by a grant from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation. The event will be hosted by All Good Books on May 31st from 9 am-4:30 pm. Workbooks and pens are provided, and lunch and snacks are served. Register here by May 24th.
