Healthy Learners announces Joanne Bamberg-Jackson as new Director of Operations

Healthy Learners, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, is proud to announce that Joanne Bamberg-Jackson has been named Director of Operations.

In this role, Bamberg-Jackson will lead human resources for the corporate office and other offices throughout the state. She also will oversee all procurement needs and manage budgets and cost projections for each site. In addition to these duties, Joanne will be responsible for training staff on new software and equipment.

“Joanne Bamberg-Jackson has committed over a decade of her work life to Healthy Learners. I see her as a leader of people, and I am excited for this new opportunity for her to grow professionally,” said Tom Keith, president of Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina.  Previously, Joanne served as the project manager for Healthy Learners overseeing various projects related to the organization’s mission. Additionally, she spearheaded marketing and public relations projects and led a number of special projects.

Bamberg-Jackson is a native of Bamberg, S.C. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Claflin University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Columbia College. She is a member of Brookland Baptist Church, where she serves as secretary of the Budget Committee and a director of the Ushers Ministry.
