Healthy Learners launched its new website on September 1, 2020 The newly redesigned website features Healthy Learners’ new branding and tagline Love Is In Our Mission. The website can be viewed on desktop, tablets and all mobile devices at www.healthylearners.com.

The new branding, tagline and website are part of the organization’s new strategic direction focusing on community engagement, program sustainability and expansion and organizational excellence. This strategy will allow staff to reach more students and more school districts. “We’re excited to share our new website with the community and look forward to serving more children in more communities in the future,” says Amy Splittgerber, executive director or Healthy Learners.

In the spirit of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, Healthy Learners is devoted to removing children’s health barriers to learning with love and compassion. In order for our communities to thrive, it is essential that children are healthy and well-educated, graduate from high school on time, and perform at their full potential. The prevalence of health barriers to learning is higher in children of color or in poverty, and these same children bear more burden of disease-in part due to their poor access to healthcare services. This is where Healthy Learners steps in to provide access to these critical healthcare services so that all children can be at their best in the classroom.

“The new website highlights the amazing work that Healthy Learners does closing critical healthcare gaps that are so prevalent in the Palmetto state,” says Matthew Roberts, Chair of Healthy Learners Board of Trustees.
