Jamaal A. Young serves as Student Services Coordinator for Healthy Learners in the Midlands region, where he supports students and families in accessing the care and resources they need to succeed. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and joined Healthy Learners in November 2025 after working as a Freelance Public Affairs Consultant.

Outside of work, Jamaal enjoys exploring Columbia’s food scene with his sister and staying connected to his community. He has also volunteered with local and national political organizing committees, reflecting a long-standing commitment to civic engagement. In his free time, you can often find him at Finlay Park or spending time at Gather COLA, two of his favorite spots in the city.
