Stephanie Mead serves as a Student Services Coordinator for Healthy Learners in Barnwell. She brings experience working with rural South Carolina communities and a passion for connecting individuals and families with the services and resources they need. Prior to joining Healthy Learners, Stephanie worked with organizations including United Way, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, NAMI South Carolina, and Save the Children, supporting underserved communities across the state.

Stephanie earned an Associate Degree from USC Salkehatchie and is deeply involved in her Barnwell community. She currently serves on the Board of the Good Fruit Foundation and is a member of the Barnwell County Housing Committee.

Stephanie is the proud mom of three children all of whom are students in Barnwell County Schools. With two graduating this year as Barnwell Warhorses, she spends plenty of time cheering them on at local sporting events, which is currently one of her favorite things to do in Barnwell. When she has free time, Stephanie enjoys cooking, reading, visiting the beach, and attending music and concerts. She also enjoys spending time at her local state park.
